This is a shorter book but it is exactly the length it need to be without dragging things into tedium or over explaining. 

Katelynsam fills every page with well written characters, great descriptions, and intriguing plot. I could picture every inch of the story as it unfolded and I was fascinated by the world. I would easily read another story in this universe, as I think there are many more stories to tell within it. I enjoyed this one and felt like it utilized common genre tropes extremely well rather than seeming rehashed or old hat. It always surprises me when I finish these Substack books and novellas only to find that it isn’t reviewed by hundreds, because each one I’ve read is so good and invariably better than it’s closest traditionally published title. Grab this one and speed through it, you won’t regret it.
