TiF Summit 2027

The only way for TiF Summit to be a success for a second year in a row is with your support and continued participation. Let me know you’d like to a Voice in the Summit and read one of your works of fiction by filling out the Google Form that will open above on June 15th. 

This is the moment you’ve been waiting for! As long as you filled out the form to express your interest in participating as a Voice in our Summit then you’ll receive an email no later than September 1st (it might be sent sooner). You’ll then have 30 days to fill out the form that will ask for the following:

• Your Time Zone
• A copy of your story. This is for vetting/checking the word count. There are multiple ways in which you can share this information:
  • Link from your Substack – if you’re choosing to read a story that you’ve already published.
  • Secret Link – if you’re story is new and you plan on releasing it after your Live reading
  • Upload – if you don’t plan on sharing it at all then I will accept an uploaded copy of it.

The form may ask other questions pertinent to the event besides the above.

In order to gain access to The Scheduler you must fill out this form. The Scheduler is “first come first served”, meaning if you want to make sure you get a time that works best for you, filling out this form ASAP is the best way.

I’d like to have a finalized schedule by October 15th. This will give me time to get any promotional material completed.

Everything that can be shared about the TiF Summit 2027 will be shared in an email post to all Top in Fiction subscribers. This will include the following:

• Dates and Times
• Official Voices Schedule

The above information will also be viewable on this page when the timeline will be removed and replaced with the date and times and schedule.

I always like to have something up my sleeve, especially when I have some people in mind who may not know about this event. So, while I haven’t approached anyone yet to invite them specially, I do have a list and special invites will have gone out and acceptances and time slots all finalized. 

Depending on the number of special guests this announcement may be a Substack Live before an official email goes out!

Let’s take a look back at how 2026 went. What you can expect:

• Nerdy numbers and stats that cover what the fiction community was writing throughout the year.

The main event that all this has been leading up to has finally arrived! 3 days (possibly 4?) of non-stop storytellers. This event will cover varying genres, characters, plots, and readers from all over the world. 

This isn’t your typical convention at all. It’s why we don’t call it a convention. It’s a summit because the climb and the journey through every story is truly unforgettable.

The goal in 2027 is to have 75 readers at all hours of the day and night to accommodate every time zone in the world!

With the annual recap and voices behind us, it’s time to look forward at what Top in Fiction and TiF Press has planned for the entire calendar year of 2027
